Cards, bags, hairpins

We’ve been busy. We’re leaving town in a week, and we won’t be releasing anything on the new bag design until we return. Onto the new things (which can be purchased here)..

Get to sleep.

It’s 4:45am, I’m a night owl. I should be working some middle of the night hotel job, but instead I’ve stayed up on the internet, as usual. The hotel job would definitely be more productive. I’m not sure if this is considered a sleep disorder or I just feel like ignoring my body urging me to sleep. Either way, I should probably put an end to it.

What’s especially weird is I love mornings. I love waking up early and watching the Tyra Banks show, having coffee, and reading celebrity news online from my usual websites (The Superficial, Go Fug Yourself, A Socialite’s Life, Hollywood Tuna, Perez Hilton). I enjoy having an entire day ahead of me, and lately I wake up late. Like, 2pm late. It’s not my favorite. And here I am, awake, and it’s nearly 5am. Again.

Updates

Gosh, I sure haven’t updated in awhile.. tons of things to say and show though. End of this month we have a wedding to attend. Day after that we’re headed off to Arizona, and we’re staying here. It’s gorgeous, I’m entirely excited. It’s basically the same yearly trip to a boring place, but I love hotels (and especially resorts!) and leaving home every once in awhile, so it’s worth getting excited about.

On to the crafts. There are some bags finished, some experimental (not sure if I should post those…) and others are the same designs. First up, a cute and simple tote bag with those original outside pockets (our pattern!), made of navy canvas with a cute contrast fabric that’s also pretty durable. The tote is interfaced, has no inside pockets, the inside fabric matches that of the pockets.

Next, a cute tote made of black canvas and a cute durable pink fabric. This one has two very large pockets inside, and none out. It’s very sturdy and made well for everyday use, as are all of our bags.

The next pattern, as seen for the first time here, has been made in different fabrics! I just love the pink one, but I’m also partial to the stripes. It’s always wonderful when it’s hard to choose favorites, means everything is about equally wonderful.
We’ve removed some of the headbands, leaving only the one that ties in the back. Lots more card designs on the way, but you’re going to have to wait until my next blog to see any of those. I promise they’re going to be wonderful though.
